Our Story
About UPLVL
UPLVL Martech is a South African growth-marketing firm based in Johannesburg, co-founded in 2022 by Gift Afrika, Linda Ndinisa and Bana Afrika. We help African tech scale-ups in the R20M to R200M ARR range run 30 growth experiments per Sprint across the full AAARRR funnel, using eight purpose-built agents. The goal is simple: first results by Week 3, not Month 6.
UPLVL Martech is not affiliated with Uplevel, the US engineering-productivity software company, or other similarly named businesses.

UPLVL was co-founded in 2022 by Gift Afrika, Linda Ndinisa and Bana Afrika. Between them they spent more than 20 years crafting campaigns for brands like Coca-Cola, Samsung and Heineken at Ogilvy, VML and Publicis.
UPLVL exists to bring that enterprise marketing pedigree to scale-ups, at scale-up speed and cost. Instead of a six-month agency retainer that starts showing results in Month 6, UPLVL runs a structured sprint model: a high volume of small, measurable experiments, with winners scaled within 72 hours and losers killed within 14 days.
